The milestone event that will crown the 2013 King of the Short Tracks! Super Late Models (Part of Southern Super Series), Mini Stocks, Sportsman/Renegades, Trucks and Outlaw Late Models.

2013 World Crown Procedures

• The World Crown will be 300 laps.
• Cautions will count.
• It will be a 12-tire race.
• There will be live pit stops.
• You can change 2 or 4 tires on any pit stop.
• Only one jack permitted

7:00 am Pit/Infield Ticket Window Opens
7:30 am Hauler Parking (Remainder of Haulers Not Already in the Infield)(Truck Driver Only, No Crew!)
8:00 am Pit/Infield Gate Opens
8:00 am Driver Registration - Transponder Pickup Opens at Infield Tech Building
8:00 am Hoosier Tire Trailer Open to Pick Practice Tires
8:15 am Tech Opens for Super Late Models
8:45 am Tire Selection (Pick all 12 tires)(Tire Selection from order of entries received. Anyone not entered or registered by 4:00 pm on July 3rd will be able to pick their tires at this time on a first-come, first-serve basis after those that have pre-registered. Teams can pick 4 tires from the 12 purchased as qualifiers and the remaining will be race tires.)
9:00 am Mandatory Southern Super Series Late Model Driver’s Meeting (Followed by Qualifying Selection from order of entries received. All Southern Super Series Late Models must be entered and registered by this time in order to pick a qualifying time.)
11:00 am Grandstands and Trackside Ticket Gates Open
11:00 am – 12:00 pm Super Late Model Practice
12:00 pm – 12:30 pm Lunch
12:30 pm – 1:00 pm Super Late Model Practice
1:00 pm – 3:00 pm Tech for Super Late Model Qualifying (Failure to be off scales and FINISHED by 3:00 pm = 1 lap to Qualify)(Will start the release of qualifying tires in the tech line)
2:30 pm – 3:00 pm Round 1 Practice for Local Divisions (OLM, Truck, Sportsman/Renegade, Mini Stock)
3:00 pm – 3:30 pm Round 2 Practice for Local Divisions (OLM, Truck, Sportsman/Renegade, Mini Stock) (Round 2 times are the lap of record for qualifying for Local Divisions)
3:35 pm Infield Chapel Service
3:50 pm Mandatory Driver’s Meeting for Local Divisions
4:10 pm Super Late Model Qualifying (This is an Impound Race)
4:45 pm Opening Ceremonies
5:00 pm Feature Events
Mini Stock – 20 Laps or 15 Minutes
Sportsman/Renegade – 15 Laps or 10 Minutes
Trucks – 30 Laps or 25 Minutes
Outlaw Late Models – 35 Laps or 30 Minutes
** Release of the remaining 8 tires for the Super Late Models. Tires will go directly to pit road (cannot go to haulers).**
6:30 pm Driver’s Introduction – Southern Super Series Late Models (Weather Permitting. Mandatory group photo followed by out of car driver introduction.)
7:00 pm Slack Auto Parts Southern Super Series World Crown 300
